dmFileNote allows you to create descriptions for any file or folder, regardless of the type.  It's like having the ability to create digital 'sticky notes' for your files and folders. 

Adding descriptions to files and folders helps you stay better organized and helps provide additional useful information.  Windows can use this information to provide much more powerful search functionality.

Requirements

*	Microsoft Windows (32-bit or 64-bit).
Supported: Windows XP, Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 10.  Does not install or work properly in Windows 98 or earlier.
Recommended minimum system specs: Intel Pentium II 400 MHz. CPU (or AMD K6-2 400 MHz. CPU) with 128 MB. RAM and 2 GB. storage space.

*	Microsoft Visual BASIC 6 (VB6) run-time component files (msvbvm60.dll, etc.).  These should be included with Windows.  You can download them from http://support.microsoft.com/kb/290887.

*	32-bit support files (if dmFileNote does not start properly).  These can be downloaded from the dmFileNote section on the website.

*	NTFS-formatted storage media for better preservation of file descriptions (avoid formatting using FAT16 or FAT32 if possible).  If using Windows XP / 7 / 8, NTFS is most likely being used already.

*	5 MB. storage space for the program files (more space will be required if additional components need to be installed).

*	5 MB. memory (typically) for program operation.
